Friday was such a nice day here, so we decided to take the kids out to the county fair. Gavin
loved looking at all the animals and picking out which rides 'looked scary.' All he wanted to do from the minute we got out of the car was ride the ferris wheel! So we made it over to the ride and had the tickets ready but it turned out that he wasn't tall enough! :( Maybe next year...
Here's Gavin playing around with my guitar. He definitely shares my love of music and I can't wait to see where it takes him!
Friday evening we got together with Maddie's family and all went out to dinner. Maddie is doing so great at a month post-Glenn and it makes me want the surgery even more for Teagan. The picture below really illustrates what a difference the surgery makes! Maddie is so happy, bright-eyed, and pink (for a heart baby)! She's gaining weight and just has that 'spark' that I long for Teagan to have. Seeing Maddie do so well is really uplifting. I can't wait to post a pictures of our two spunky girls playing together in a few months once Teagan is feeling better post-op!

Looks like Gavin LOVED the fair... too bad he wasn't tall enough for the ferris wheel...bummer :(
Maddie does look fantastic and Teagan will feel so much better soon! It does take a few weeks post op for them to feel better..but it's so wonderful!
Good Luck!!
Andrea
It was fun spending time with you guys again! I can't wait until the girls can play too...we're going to have some fun times ahead. Call me when you find out her surgery date...I think I'm as anxious as you are!!! You're going to be so relieved to get it over with. I know Teagan is going to do awesome!
Love,
Katie
