Here he is checking on what sister is up to. She loves to play mommy and is constantly telling him what to do (or not do!) She is always asking to feed him and is sad that he doesn't like to take a bottle (we're working on this!)
Teagan is also growing up fast lately! She's been in 'big girl pants' for a while now and is doing great! She's very independent and is always asking me to leave the bathroom if I'm trying to help her and gets offended when I try to put a pull up on her at night, ha. Its so nice not to have two kids in diapers, but its sad at the same time to see her getting so big! She loves all things princess, tinkerbell and dora/diego right now, and also dressing up 'fancy'.
At the beginning of the year I put her on the waitlist for the 2 year old preschool class after she was crushed that Gav was going to school and not her. She was pretty far down on the list and I forgot that we had put her on it until the school called in Jan. and said they had an opening. So Teag is officially a preschooler as of Feb. 3rd and loving every minute! She gets to go one day a week for two hours and loves, loves, loves her class. Here's Gav giving her some pointers before her first day.
So one day a week for two hours or so, this guy gets me all to himself! I love having a little alone time with him and I'm sure he appreciates the quiet playtime too! He is such a sweet boy, and a snuggler too! He's been having a hard time with his teeth lately and just finally broke his FIRST tooth through at 10 1/2 months! Poor guy... he eats pretty much all table food but has nothing to chew it with!
Gav goes to preschool 3 days/week and loves his class too! He's 5 1/2 now and due to start kindergarten in the fall. I found a really neat homeschool co-op that I think we're going to try called Homelink and I'm excited to learn more about it. I'm a little nervous about taking on homeschooling but I think it will be fun!
My little buddy!
Sweet, sweet girl!

Beautiful update, Susie. I was just thinking about you last night and wondering how your family (and Teagan especially) were doing. Bode is such a cutie without teeth.;-) Wow, it's hard to believe that Gavin will be in Kindergarten next year. I forget that when my kids grow up, so do others. Teagan is a beautiful little girl. Bossiness must come with the age, because Natalie has been bossing everyone around now too...even her parents (or at least she tries)! Congratulations on getting 2:3 potty trained! I personally think it's one of the worst parts of parenting.

How did I miss you updating??? I'm so glad I checked your blog out today, although I now remember you saying something about getting it up to date :)
I loved this update...even though we talk often, it was still very fun to see it in pics. Your kids are so adorable and your photog skills are really awesome! I'd love a lesson the next time we get together! Beautiful lighting!
We have a little friend "Rudy" with HLHS and somehow stumbled across your blog when reading one of his friends blogs about 18 months ago. My daughters name is Teagan and she is 10 now, and we decided to save your blag and check on your Teagan from time to time and to pray for her and your family. My parents live up you way, in Port Orchard WA, and we were up there 10/2009. I posted a msg on your blog back then in case we might get a chance to meet your little Teagan. Any way, love your beautiful family photos, and so happy all is well with Teagan and all. Hugs from Bonnie & Teagan Lisama, La Mesa CA bbclisama@juno.com
