My family's church back home in Illinois is suffering tremendously after a man came in and shot the pastor during the service this morning. My mom, stepdad and brother were all there but thankfully are ok. Please pray for the pastor's family, wife and children- and for the whole church family today. I heard in church this morning about it...news travels fast, huh. It reminds me of two years ago when the same thing happened in CO. I always wonder if one day my faith in Jesus Christ will be tested with a life or death decision. I will be praying for your family and the church.
Oh my goodness!! Why? That is so so sad- a preacher? Wow. I can't believe that! I will pray for them, what a difficult trial.
Oh, Susie, how horrible! I am so sorry for your family's church's loss and feel so sad for that pastor's family. I had heard about this shooting even before I saw your blog. May God be glorified in some way through this tragedy.
